How do I get to Eye of the North? - Guild Wars Forums

I just purchased the addon from the in-game store but I'm a bit lost as to how I'm even going to get there.

I tried to -image, thinking that now that I have a new product associated with my account new content would have to be downloaded to the client. Alas, -image does nothing.

Map travel doesn't show anything but locations on the 3 continents (Cantha, Tyria, Elona)

When you aarrive in one of the three port cities (Lions Arch, Kaineng Center or Kamadan), it tells you the quest you need to take in order to travel to the eye of the north, and who to receive it from. After you do that, you should see a purple asura gate near the three towns.

Go to Lion's Arch (or the Cantha/Elona equivalent) and it will have a pop up saying "To gain access to Eye of the North, accept x quest from x person", the quest will be something along the lines of finding a crevasse, going into the crevasse, you will meet Ogden and Vekk, run from the destroyers, and find yourself in the Borreal Station.

the content for eye was added a long time ago so doing a -image would not get more for you until you add the key (all the maps and stuff got added back when eye came out for the most part).
